Media invited to register for webinar to learn about scientific highlights of Union World Conference

In the lead up to the 48th Union World Conference on Lung Health, which takes place on 11-14 October in Guadalajara, Mexico, a webinar at 12pm  BST on 26 September will introduce some of the scientific themes of the conference’s extensive programme.  

Experts, including The Union’s Stacie C Stender, Chair, Coordinating Committee of Scientific Activities, will participate in the webinar, being held on Tuesday, 26 September at 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM BST.

The conference has as its theme ‘Accelerating Toward Elimination’ and features a programme which spans a comprehensive range of lung health issues including tuberculosis (TB); multidrug-resistant TB (MDR-TB); childhood TB; new TB drugs, diagnostics and vaccines research; asthma; childhood pneumonia; COPD and tobacco control issues.

In the case of the 48th Union World Conference on Lung Health, as with most scientific/medical conferences, all conference abstracts are released to media under a strict embargo policy.
