Union TV returns in 2017 – an opportunity to promote your organisation

The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease is partnering with international film and broadcasting company, WebsEdge, to bring Union TV to the 48th World Conference on Lung Health in Guadalajara, Mexico, 11-14 October 2017.  This is following the success of The Union’s partnership with WebsEdge to produce ‘Tobacco OR Heath TV’ at the 16th World Conference on Tobacco or Health in Abu Dhabi and ‘Union TV’ at the 46th and 47th World Conferences on Lung Health in Cape Town and Liverpool respectively.

In Mexico, Union TV will be an onsite conference television channel featuring a new episode daily, screened around the venue, as well as in selected hotel guest rooms, online and via social media.

This venture serves to raise the visibility of the hard work of researchers, public health and clinical experts, and policy makers in the fights against tuberculosis, HIV, lung disease, tobacco use and non-communicable diseases, and provides an opportunity to learn about the latest developments that are making a difference.

Each daily programme has two features: “Thought Leadership” and “Conference News.” Thought Leadership pieces are five-minute sponsored film segments highlighting programmes and initiatives in the field. Conference News is a daily programme of conference highlights, featuring “behind the scenes” interviews, coverage of conference events, and reactions to the day from delegates.

WebsEdge will be reaching out to organisations and institutions to describe the “Thought Leadership” programme and seek their engagement in creating the five-minute documentary-style films highlighting particular aspects of their project work.

There are a limited number of places available for the five-minute films and there is a cost to participate. If you would like to explore having a film featured in the programme, please contact:
