Who is eligible to apply?

The Union is pleased to offer 100 free registrations 1 for the 48th Union World Conference on Lung Health to individuals affected by lung disease or community volunteers 2. Individuals from low- and middle-income countries will be given priority, as will those who are presenting at the conference, including in the community space. Please note that if you are an invited symposium speaker or author of an abstract, you may also apply for a scholarship that includes transportation cost and/or hotel accommodation in addition to the registration fee.

1 The number of free conference registrations offered will be determined annually by The Union, based upon available funds.

2 Affected is defined as individuals who have had TB or live with chronic lung disease or who have personally cared for someone who does.
